My self cofidence is lacking.

The first topic is something that I recently start facing myself. Self-Doubt! It is the one thing that they don't teach you about in Women Studies classes. However, I have heard more women put themselves down than I have heard them say someone else put them down.
I recently picked up the book Lean In for Graduates by Sheryl Sandberg. In the first chapter she talks about self doubt, and how she herself has dealt with it. One thing she says is "We hold ourselves back in ways big and small, by lacking the self-confidence." I found myself feeling like she was talking directly to me here. I mean after college we put this idea in our head that we only have to worry about society pushing us down. Well I have found that society hasn't pushed me down as much as I have myself.
I mean the job search in this economy is nerve wrecking alone, but then to add self-doubt. Now I know beating our minds is not going to be easy, but I am tired of having no confidence. I am tired of seeing a good job, and thinking oh I couldn't do that. WHAT THE HELL? Women before us have fought to hard for us to be climbing into a hole and hiding. Yeah you may not qualify for the job or have the experience for it. However it takes one thing on your resume for an employer to consider you. We have to have that confidence or we aren't going to get anywhere. W
Don't let self-doubt be the reason you stay in a job that you hate. You deserve so much more out of this life. Believe in yourself, and put yourself out there. Once we change the attitude we have towards ourselves. We wont let anything take us down.
